Dark: Dark spirits (rum, especially) have extra sugar and other flavorful impurities that make them darker.

Drambuie: An 80-proof whisky made in Scotland and flavored with honey.

Dry: Dry is an adjective referring to the low sugar content of something. Dry drinks are drinks that don't taste sweet.

Dubonnet: A type of vermouth (34-proof) made from a mixture of wines, spices and herbs.
